They have worked with and supported us for the last 2 years with training and skills development grants and advice, and have been a significant element of the success of Capex Health.

School of Medicine – University of Leeds
The Leeds medical school and the Yorkshire Centre for Health Informatics have created a bespoke health domain training programme for Capex Health. Health domain knowledge is key to our people, and differentiates them from other ‘technical resources’. This knowledge enables them to work more effectively with healthcare professionals, with some understanding of the structure, roles and business processes of the environment in which they are implementing a system.

Have helped to define and create the FdSc (Foundation Degree) in Health Informatics which we have created for our people, with help from DVC and YCHI, in a record time of 3 months. SHU now host the FdSc and manage the examination and administration processes.
